Established in 2013, HAIHAN IP LAW FIRM has been contributing to the IP network as a diligent firm with quality services in its jurisdictions including Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. The firm has been growing with the increasing number of patent, trademark and industrial design filings thanks to the great entrustment of clients. The firm leaders keep in mind that the increasing number annually is not its target but the quality of the results of the work is what the firm wishes to non-stop take care.
Staff: The firm has 12 full-time staff.
Most of staff has been working at the firm since its foundation of 2013. The firm does not have a crowded team but every staff has a unity of mind to develop.
The representative is Mr. Nguyen Van Hai who has attended many INTA meetings since 2007 and he is always very keen to care for every IP case to an end.
The firm is proud of sending 02 staff to Japan for training since early 2021 and these staff will come back the firm in 2023.

Mr. NGUYEN VAN HAI is a registered trademark and patent attorney under registration number 13-2012/CCĐD granted by the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam. His practice encompasses patent prosecution in the chemical, material science, bio technology, textile, mechanical, pharmaceutical, medical device, etc.
Prior to becoming the Director of HAIHAN-IP, Hai was a patent attorney of INVESTIP (the second oldest IP firm in Vietnam), where he served as the Director of Patent Department for nearly 8 years to lead his patent team to handle thousands of patent cases. Hai’s strength is the possibility to interview with examiners to facilitate examination of patent cases and resolve difficulties for varied IP cases. Hai has assisted many foreign patent attorneys and inventors to visit Vietnam IPO to interview with patent examiners.
At HAIHAN-IP, Mr. Nguyen Van Hai’s practice includes FTO analysis, patent search, patent filing and prosecution, patent license negotiation and patent infringement resolution.

Mr. Minh has worked as a patent attorney for about 15 years and he has extensive experience in various areas of IP protection, including patent search, patent filing and prosecution, preparing responses to office actions, filing cancellations and handling patent infringement.
Mr. Minh specializes in a wide range of technical fields, including building materials, chemical, pharmaceutical, medical instruments, high polymer materials, material processing, etc.

Ms. Dang Thi Loan handles trademark search, filing, prosecution, license, assignment, renewal, opposition, cancellation, disputes, invalidation and customs recordal. Ms. Loan is a highly experienced attorney for filing responses to refusals. So far, she has won hundred of the responses for trademarks and built a great trust for clients on HAIHAN-IP’s trademark services.
Experience: Ms. Loan joined HAIHAN-IP in 2013 and has become the Deputy Director of HAIHAN-IP due to her great achievement for trademarks at the firm.
