Franco Oriti is the IP field since 1991

Oriti Patents delivers IP services in Switzerland starting from preliminary searches through filing of patents, trademarks and designs until their grant, maintenance and renewals of IP, validation of European patents in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, change of names and address, watching services for marks, etc.

Oriti Patents, is also very active in pro-bono consultancy assisting for free Start-ups, Unemployed people and University students.

Also for free Oriti Patents has developed an electronic monitoring system and it is distributed on the internet (and soon also as an App) because is aware of the considerable importance of IP deadlines. This "web-tool" named IP Due Dates (www.ipduedates.com) allows a very simple and easy way to enter, manage and extract all types of IP deadlines and to be notified whenever desired. In this way, anywhere, anybody and at anytime in the World may be automatically informed by email involving, if desired, contemporary colleagues, staff and clients.

Oriti Patents has created other new easy web tools through an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) in order to make some IP services easier, immediate and transparent for clients 24/7 and where some IP activities may be entrusted with a few clicks and payments may be made with automatic e-invoices sent within 30 seconds. Tools like www.epvalidation.chwww.patentannuities.chwww.iprecordals.ch and www.tmrenewal.ch are already online.

“IP CH” is already released as an Android App.

Trade mark filing is now more affordable in SWITZERLAND

From 1 July 2023, it will cost CHF 450 to file a trade mark with the IPI before Bern instead of the previous 550.

In addition, the fee for protecting an International trade mark in Switzerland for three classes of goods will be reduced by CHF 50.

The IPI will also offer an ‘e-discount' of CHF 100 from this date onwards for applications submitted electronically.

A trade mark in CH is protected for ten years from its filing date. After that, protection can be renewed indefinitely for ten years at a time.

Our Agency Fees to be added of CHF 350 remain the same as before.
