Trade mark filing is now more affordable in SWITZERLAND
From 1 July 2023, it will cost CHF 450 to file a trade mark with the IPI before Bern instead of the previous 550.
The IPI will also offer an ‘e-discount' of CHF 100 from this date onwards for applications submitted electronically.
A trade mark in CH is protected for ten years from its filing date. After that, protection can be renewed indefinitely for ten years at a time.

From 1 July 2024, taxes are CHF 550 for the renewal of a trade mark with the IPI before Bern instead of the previous 700.
A trade mark in CH is protected for other ten years when renewed and can be renewed indefinitely for ten years at a time.
